JANE’S ART CENTER in New Smyrna Beach, Central Florida, is an eclectic fine art gallery featuring art from American and European artists. We are also a Ceramics Facility and offer ongoing Workshops & Classes.

Her Mantra: “Let us not forget our childhood.”

TJ England was born in the parking lot of Bert Fish Hospital in New Smyrna Beach, FL. She is a published poet having studied with Seamus Heaney, Poet Nobel Laureate of Ireland, along with various other motley poets of some international fame. While attending jewelry and mixed media classes at the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston she volunteered as an archeologist with the Massachusetts Archeological Society. TJ is a member of Greenpeace and looks forward to someday sailing aboard a Greenpeace ship.

Kelly Berning

One of the greatest loves of Kelly Berning’s life is working with clay, and for over 25 years, she has poured her heart and soul into her work. Kelly received her Master of Fine Arts Degree in Ceramics at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, and her Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree in Ceramics, at California State University, Chico. Between 2001 and 2012, she taught college level ceramics in Tennessee and Southern California.

She currently lives in Florida where she works directing the ceramic facility at Jane’s Art Gallery in New Smyrna Beach. Through the years Kelly’s work has evolved into whimsical figurative sculptures. She has exhibited nationally and has been the recipient of several awards including 1st Place in the ACGA Clay and National Juried Competition and has had various publications including A Ceramic Guide, 500 Figures In Clay, Ceramics Monthly, Clay Times Magazine and Dick Blick Artist’s Resources. Kelly also enjoys making functional work.
