We will review your website so please do not attach any images to the email. Your bio/CV should be on your website or attached separately to the email. We respond to submissions that show that you are qualified to teach and which the clay studio feels might be a good fit. You will be contacted only if there is an interest in further discussions about you teaching at Jane’s. Incomplete submissions will not be considered.

Elementary age home school students are invited to sign up for our monthly clay class. Instructor Carly Gibran has taught art at elementary through high school levels for over 10 years and has been working with clay for over 20 years. Each month, students will learn ceramic techniques through a different theme. Focus will be placed on experimentation as well as completing projects. Classes will meet on Tuesdays from 9 to 10:30 a.m. and will consist of four classes each month.
Cost: $90 plus $5 materials fee
September 3, 10, 17 & 24: Breakfast of Champions!
Make your own breakfast dishes! We will wheel throw and hand build to create a personalized set of breakfast dishes just for you! (Bowl, plate, & cup) $80 plus $5 materials fee
October 1, 8, 15, 22: Creepy Crawlies
Bugs and bats and reptiles, oh my! We will create creature themed clay whistles and luminaries. Students will explore texture and carving this month. $80 plus $5 materials fee
October 29, November 5, 12 & 19: Serving Up Sweets
With holidays fast approaching, students will make a dessert serving tray and a candy jar. We will discuss family traditions and how handmade objects can make holidays feel special. $80 plus $5 materials fee
