I have been involved in the arts since 1970, first as a designer and now as a painter working primarily with acrylics.
My goal as an artist is to always keep moving forward, trying to find new ways to express what I feel, what I see and what I imagine. This style of painting has evolved over the years, but love of color and pattern have remained the cornerstones of my art. For the past few years I have been working on a series of paintings using a limited palette, high horizon/low horizon abstracted format. The work is based on memories I have of growing up in the Midwest – the farm fields of Minnesota and the lakes of northern Wisconsin.
