Gallery

Welcome

Jane's Art Center, nestled within the charming Canal Street Historic District of New Smyrna Beach, made its debut on the city's thriving art scene back in 2018. From the very beginning, Jane's Art Center set its sights on a distinctive artistic path, with a primary focus on the realm of fine ceramics.

This strategic decision not only showcased the center's dedication to the craft but also enriched the local arts community with a unique offering.

Over the years, Jane's Art Center has grown into a creative haven, drawing artists and enthusiasts alike to explore the boundless possibilities of ceramics and beyond, cementing its place as a treasured cultural gem in New Smyrna Beach.

The Space

The distinctive gallery space represents a range of work from artists from local to national prominence.  Dedicated to learning and creative growth, the heart of Jane's, though, is the clay studio.  With comprehensive facilities and top-notch instructors, the educational opportunities at Jane's offer both beginner and experienced potters the chance to advance their skills in a supportive environment.

Julie Guidubaldi – “Forms of Nature”
Saturday, December 6 through January 26
Nature has always been Julie’s greatest teacher. Growing up in Ohio, she was surrounded by forests, streams, and the quiet presence of animals that sparked her early love of the natural world. For the past twenty years, living in Florida has deepened that connection—here, she has discovered a new landscape filled with vibrant plants, delicate insects, and a rhythm of life that continues to inspire her. This collection is a celebration of that lifelong dialogue with nature. Each piece—whether it carries the form of a bird, the replication of a leaf, the curve of a flower, or the texture of bark—seeks to honor the beauty and resilience found in the living world. Working with clay allows me to echo the shapes and patterns she encounters outdoors, grounding each vessel, sculpture, or surface design in the organic forms that surround us.Julie’s hope is that these works invite viewers to pause and reconnect with the wonder of nature—the small details, the fleeting moments, and the enduring presence of life that exists all around us.
