Advanced Wheel Throwing w/ Andres Montenegro

This class is designed for people that have successfully learned the beginning wheel throwing technical skills, such as centering clay to, and can make cylinders/bowls proficiently. During our six week classes we will do a variety of demos, that will include different advanced building techniques using the wheel, but including some handbuilding and leather hard manipulation of thrown pots. The class includes one bag of clay, material, and firing. All students are encouraged to come to open studio time to put extra time in their own projects. All basics will be covered in class, but the finalization of each project will depend on each student's goals and involvement.
